My Collection - Buttons & Signs

Almost without exception, all buttons come from the USA and are originals from the sixties and thus “contemporary witnesses”. I have purchased many of them during my early collection times directly in the USA, or I have received them from like-minded people. Many buttons are from the election time or on the occasion of the inauguration in 1961. Amongst them also my first piece from a flea market in New York.

The signs are partly souvenirs (after 1963) that have also been manufactured in Germany. The two street signs are originals from a German and a French city.
